What happens at my first exam?
The initial exam gives us a chance to see what your dental needs are, as well as discuss your dental goals, questions, and sedation options to address any anxiety you may have over dental care. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to fill out your patient registration, as well as to enjoy the serenity of our 300 gallon salt water aquarium. We will perform the necessary X-rays and a comprehensive oral evaluation. You and Dr. Row will formulate a treatment plan to most effectively and comfortably meet your dental needs and goals.
Will I have a cleaning done on my first visit?
Most patients will receive a cleaning on their first visit; but since there is more than one type of cleaning, we need to perform a comprehensive oral evaluation to determine what type of care best suits your dental condition.
Do you take insurance?
We accept all insurance plans except the Oregon Health Plan and some preferred provider plans. We are a participating member of the Oregon Dental Service. Since plans periodically change, please call us to let us check your plan. Before you come in, we will call your insurance company for a run-down of coverage so when you arrive we can explain how you, your benefits, and our fees work together. We highly recommend you familiarize yourself with your insurance plan's restrictions and benefits. We will make sure we provide as much information as we can, but please remember that your plan is a contract between you and your insurance company.
How are your fees?
We are very competitively priced for the Portland Metro area. And before we bill anything, we will provide a treatment plan with an estimate of the fees, insurance coverage, and copayment for you. Please call us with any specific questions.
How do you bill?
We will collect your estimated co-payment at the time of service and then bill your insurance company by electronic mail for their estimated portion. We will subsequently bill you if there is any remaining balance after receipt of the insurance payment. We accept VISA, Mastercard, DISCOVER, and Diners Club credit cards as well as personal checks.
Do you offer financing?
We offer a plan called Care Credit, which is designed specifically for health care expenses, and has a number of very attractive options.
Do you see children?
Yes, as early as age 3.
